Professional Role & Oracle Products Used

CIO for Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) and CP Kelco.  HEM is currently running EBS globally and I have recently signed a multi-year license agreement with Oracle to deploy Fusion ERP.  We've implemented IBP (Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP), as well as OTM.  We're currently implementing EPM and OAC.  Oracle CX is next.

What makes the OATUG mission meaningful to you?

OATUG provides customers with a voice to influence Oracle solutions in use by my company and industry.  An opportunity to help shape the future Oracle roadmap and user experience.  A chance to help Oracle customers maximize their investments and improve their overall business operations.

Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?

Share my extensive ERP knowledge and experience to represent end-users and companies as a whole.  I possess extensive ERP consulting experience and have worked for several fortune 100 companies on some of the largest ERP implementations in the world.  I have built and run global ERP Centers of Excellence.  I am a passionate advocate for enabling business operations through the use of standard, best practices functionality, including enterprise/business objectives regarding data, governance, reporting and analytics, automation, optimized business processes (eg. Industry 4.0) and security.  I have spoken at several industry conferences and multiple other forums. I possess an extensive network within both Oracle & SAP and across their partner network (and other customers). Represent both my Company and end-user population regarding Oracle strategic and tactical design, functionality, operations, best practices and maintenance/support capabilities.  Ability to influence future Oracle solutions for my company, industry and the overall Oracle customer base.

Other OATUG and Volunteer Experience:

I have joined the Atlanta Chapter of OATUG and will be attending the upcoming chapter meeting on 8/23.  I will also be attending CloudWorld in September in Vegas as a guest of Oracle, representing Huber Engineered Materials, for which I am their CIO.
I'm a 25-year SAP veteran.  I recently joined the ASUG Board of Directors, representing CP Kelco, for which I am also their CIO.
Huber has a much larger Oracle footprint than SAP.
I believe my extensive SAP and Oracle background/experience will provide a unique perspective to the OATUG Board.
