Roger Dupuis

My current role is "Master Data Governance Manager". I have spent 10+ years within the Oracle EBS system with various manufacturing and Data Governance roles. I lead and oversee the implementation of data governance strategies within the organization. This includes managing lifecycle, data policies, processes, procedures, and governance. I also provide guidance and support for best practices to other functional areas. I work cross functionally with all areas throughout the company to ensure their data quality needs are met. I am also responsible to report on key performance indicators related to data quality and master data governance. 

The OATUG mission is meaningful in several ways - commitment, networking, learning, and empowerment. The organization is committed to providing a platform for users of all skills - novice to expert. The networking options allow users to connect with peers across similar and diverse industries and backgrounds. The educational opportunities allow all users to learn. The platform as a whole empowers all users to take advantage of all OATUG has to offer.  

I am a passionate about OATUG's mission and how it aligns with my personal and professional goals. I am a lifelong learner and facilitator and I have a desire to assist OATUG in their pursuit of their mission. I have the relevant technical and leadership skills required for this position. I have 10+ years of experience with Oracle EBS with most of those years spent in the Item Master space (Manufacturing). I also have experience in the Oracle Customer and Supplier Master spaces. I can provide valuable insight from a technical, analytical, and business user perspective. My role as Master Data Governance Manager has equipped me with the leadership and strategic planning skills necessary for a board position. I am committed to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of the OATUG community. 

I have limited experience within the OATUG community. I have attended several webinars as a focused learner but have not has the opportunity to volunteer yet. I would relish the opportunity to work closer with OATUG as an organization. I am a current board member for the Snyder County Coalition for Kids in Snyder County, PA. I had held various leadership roles throughout my career (16 years) including being a supervisor and manager at a plant level as well as the same positions at a corporate level. I have been a member of several internal committees during my career including safety, engagement, onboarding, and employee appreciation. I have also volunteered in my community with several sports teams and being a Scoutmaster for the Cub Scouts of America.
