In EBS 12.2.4 is there a way to enable project validation prior to submitting an expense report?   If this is not possible has anybody done a customization to do the validation up front?

I am not exactly clear what your specific situation is you are trying to validate but if you want to restrict labor/expenses from non project members to that project and/or other expenses you should set up those controls in the actual project.  If this is not what you are asking please post a scenario you are trying to solve a solution for.

    Hello Thanh,
    What is the specific scenario?
I am guessing that you could do this from the projects control, but I would like to see some extra info before adventuring on the answer.

    Hi Thanh,

What kind of validation are you looking at? If you want to limit the expense types( per Diem, car allowance, hotel) to your employees then you can use transaction controls and enable Limit to transaction control check box and give a limited set of expense types for which they are eligible. If you enter any expense type other than from the predefined list system will give an error.

The above is just an example. If you elaborate question more we can answer them.
