Why ERP Implementations Fail: An Independent View - Part 3

When:  Dec 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (ET)
Abstract:
The Definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  Some would argue that up to 90% of ERP implementations fail because they don’t go live on time, the project is over budget, or less functionality was implemented than was originally scoped.  In this three-part series, we will explore the main reasons that projects aren’t successful and how to avoid them.

Part One:  Planning for the project and pre-project work (September 24, 2024)
Part Two:  Implementation project (October 29, 2024)
Part Three: Focus on the activities after the project (December 3, 2024)

Learning Objectives:
  1. Define what project success looks like.
  2. Consider roadblocks and common issues that lead to less-than-perfect solutions.
  3. Present ways to overcome obstacles and roadblocks.
