The University of Pittsburgh: Flying Even Higher in the EPM Cloud

When:  Nov 17, 2020 from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM (ET)
Abstract:
As part of a phased initiative to move financial solutions to the cloud, the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) implemented Oracle EPM Planning Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS). The initial implementation included standard capabilities to execute a pre-seeded budget, a tuition revenue model, and financial reporting with transactional drill-back. As part of a continuing effort to further the use of EPM Cloud, and expand the tool into other facets of the planning process, Pitt continues to roll out capabilities such as new funding requests, a workforce stop-gap solution, a multi-year plan, and an expense allocation framework, with more plans in flight, utilizing other Oracle EPM tools and capabilities. Attendees will not only see how Oracle EPM can be used for department budgeting, but also how Oracle EPM can be used beyond the standard budget for other parts of the financial planning process.
