Calling Vendor RESTful APIs from Your PL/SQL Program

When:  Jul 17, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (ET)
More and more third-party vendors are requiring the use of Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programmatic Interfaces (APIs) rather than traditional file exchanges to maintain data to and from E-Business Suite. Learn how to call these APIs from within PL/SQL code, using our experience integrating a third-party eProcurement vendor with Human Resources, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.

Objective 1: Overview of Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs
Objective 2: Creating the Oracle Wallet to store database credentials
Objective 3: Explain components needed for the HTTPS call
Objective 4: Handling Extensible Markup Language (XML) or JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) data within PL/SQL
Objective 5: Lessons learned and other tips and tricks
