Formed in October, 2011 the GovCon SIG has structured itself as a federated collaboration of working groups aimed at representation of the Federally Funded Research & Development Corporation and Prime Contractor industries. Current, core representation in its membership is around DOE, NASA and DOD federally funded contractors.
