Richard J Stevens III lives in Fairbanks Alaska and leads the Tanana Chiefs Conference ERP program. TCC is a nonprofit serving the Native Alaskan tribes of interior Alaska. TCC’s vision is healthy, strong, unified tribes. Richard’s background is in physics and data science. He received a B.S. in Physics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2006. He pursued a graduate degree in Computational Physics until leaving for an industry job in data science in 2010. Working in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has spurred a renewed interest in data science, specifically dynamic social systems. One of the frontiers of business thinking is the field of business value and resource optimization. Developing metrics and applying analytical techniques to leadership, corporate culture, customer interaction, internal and external satisfaction, training effectiveness and value are passions for Richard. He pursues data driven outcomes from difficult and subjective data.
