09:25-10:15  A  TMS implementation: Learning to fly an airplane while reading the manual? by Marc Jägers (RHI Magnesita) and Michiel Keijzer (Flo Group)
Organisations implement a TMS to enable supply chain optimisation, increase performance and flexibility at a lower cost. However, they often struggle to achieve the best outcome due to a lack of organisation upfront leading to unforeseen risks and situations like “flying a Boeing while reading the manual”. In this session, RHIM will share lessons learned from their journey implementing OTM. Together with Flo Group, they will discuss the best practices and how starting the implementation in the right way is critical for success.

09:25-10:15  B  Oracle Data Visualization for Logistics Cloud by Brian Ramos (Oracle)
With the newly available Data Visualization module of our logistics analytics platform (based on Oracle Analytics Server), you are able to derive data insights using responsive visualizations and configurable data pre-processing. In this session we will briefly summarize the unique and overlapping roles of the three analytics modules (Dashboards, Publisher, Data Visualization) before taking a deeper look into selected Data Visualization functionalities.

10:15-11:05  A  Intermodal Supply Chain Execution & Visibility and Carrier Integrations into OTM Through one Harmonized Interface by Geesche Laksola (Youredi)
As Oracle TMS users strive to improve the performance levels of their logistics operations and optimize supply chain execution processes, reliable up-to-date data connectivity with air and ocean carriers is vital. However, custom development of such integrations and a heavy burden from connectivity maintenance are what many would like to avoid. In addition, even for market-leading shippers and BCOs integration possibilities to air and ocean and intermodal logistics service providers have been very limited and cumbersome. Contrary to supply chain visibility, off-the-shelf solutions for LSP-agnostic execution (booking and related processes) have typically been scarce. Youredi offers a “One-stop shop” solution enabling Oracle TMS users to exchange vital supply chain data from various sources through one interface directly into their main operational system environment (OTM). This way, companies can focus on growing their business instead of building connectivity.

10:15-11:05  B  How to resolve your logistics sustainability challenge by Robert Recknagel (flexis) and Tobias Häßler (BigMile)
flexis and BigMile create CO2e transparency and enable optimisation of your transport decisions considering cost and your carbon footprint.
The accredited CO2e calculation of BigMile is combined with the experience in route and network optimisation solutions of flexis. The integration of the solutions in OTM makes your transport chain leaner & greener.
