person.pngperson.pngCNHi is a World-Class agriculture and construction, Equipments and Services Company. Since 2013 CNHi leverage on OTM implementation to support worldwide Manufacturing processes and Business on a region-specific data. Given this experience in 2021, CNHi started from EMEA region a roadmap to implement the OTM solution on a different instance for Parts & Services Businesses. Parts & Services have a distribution transport model where each depot organizes the transport of all parcels across the entire logistic network. During the presentation will be shown how Parts & Services processes have been mapped into OTM and the related main activated features. The project methodology is organized into two main phases: the implementation of a pilot, and once validated, proceeded with the roll-out by waves for each depots clusters. Considering the distributed nature of the depot network, the chosen implementation methodology was a success enabler to reach a zero-impact adoption.

11:45-12:30  A  Implementing and adopting OTM as freight forwarder by Sidney Leenen (Rooskens Group) & Raimond van Kampen (Flo)

person.pngperson.pngRooskens Group is an international freight forwarder, based near the city of Roermond in the Netherlands. With a team of almost 30 employees we’re able to fulfill the transport needs of hundreds of customers without owning any trucks. Recently we’ve made the decision to purchase OTM Cloud to enable us to achieve our goals and become a future-proof digital freight forwarder and allow us to integrate with both the customer and the serviceprovider to make communication easier, faster and less prone to human error. As a freight forwarder, we agree upon a sell-price upfront with the customer and in most cases don’t know which serviceprovider will be available to carry out the transport. This opens up a number of complications in working with OTM. To mitigate those issues, we have adapted both the business processes and stretched OTM to its limits to make ends meet.
Sidney Leenen is responsible for the IT at Rooskens Group, International Freight Forwarder. His the team that implements and adopts OTM, assists the internal business with the changes caused by the adoption of OTM, and builds enterprise software to close the gaps between business requirements and technical constraints. He has 4 years of experience in IT and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in IT Software Engineering.
Raimond van Kampen has over 30 years of experience and knowledge of logistics operations. Raimond held positions across Europe, United States and Asia for several companies like UPS, Kuehne Nagel, and CLX Logistics. He worked with the largest supply chains, and he was responsible for increasing revenue for all modes of transport, managing the global sales and solution teams. Raimond is Flo’s Group Engagement Director and responsible for the commercial growth of Flo Group since 2020. He succeeds by combining knowledge of the industry, client engagement and creating innovating ways to go to market.
