Abstract:
Successful businesses will be run differently after this crisis is over. Our ERP and systems worlds need to be smarter, more agile, and effective. We knew this for a long time, but this crisis is forcing us to change. We might as well embrace it. We will present our “Model 1-2-3” which embraces the co-existence of multiple systems as well as Cloud and On-Premise foundations. The model provides clear conceptual definitions of data and process flows and includes strong master data maintenance reconciliations and audit trails. It allows us to keep current systems in place where appropriate and focuses on business value and cost-effectiveness. These qualities will be critical in getting back on our feet after the crisis.
