Biography
Michael Brown is an Oracle ACE Alumni who has been working the Oracle Database since 1993, the E-Business Suite since 1997 and various flavors of Unix/Linux since 1986. He has a B.S Computer Science from Appalachian State University and an M.S. Computer Science from Clemson University. He is a member of OATUG and ODTUG (and IOUG until it ended operations). At Collaborate 13, he was named the OATUG Member of the Year. He has been a regular presenter at Oracle Openworld, Collaborate, and OATUG Connection Points as well as at other regional conferences and local user groups.

Currently she works for Mitre Corporation as a Senior Oracle Applications DBA.

Michael is an Oracle ACE Pro and an Oracle E-Business Suite Database Administrator, E-Business Suite Security Administrator and Oracle IT Architect with 26 years of IT experience and 18 years of Oracle Applications DBA experience including RAC (Real Application Cluster), ASM (Automatic Storage Management), and Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite). Michael’s experience includes full cycle installations and upgrades as well as architecture, installation, administration and development of Oracle relational databases. Michael spoke regularly at Oracle Open World and Oracle Application Technical Users Group (OATUG) Conferences and Oracle Users Group (OUG) Conferences.

Mark W. Farnham is a native of Dunkirk, NY where he attended public schools and enjoyed the rich musical and farming heritage of Chautauqua County. After graduating with a dual major in physics and biology from Dartmouth College in 1977, Mark became interested in computer science and database technology. Mark began using Oracle at DTSS in the late 1980s and helped Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse move from DTSS to Unix and Oracle from 1989 to 1994. Mark was one of the founders of the OATUG and participated in Oracle's VLDB group and MOSES. In 1994 Mark co-founded Rightsizing, Inc. with Jerry Ireland where Mark continues as President to this day. Rightsizing helps businesses make smart use of Oracle technology and Mark often is called upon when high throughput and massive migrations are involved. Mark is an Oracle ACE, a frequent contributor to oracle-l and is proud to be a member of the Oak Table Network (http://www.oaktable.net) and co-founder of the APPSPERF consortium (http://www.appsperf.org ). Mark continues his service to the OAUG as a board member of the OATUG DBSIG and was awarded the OATUG Lifetime Service Award in 2010. Sandra has over sixteen years of experience with Oracle database administration specifically supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environments. For years Sandra has been a presenter and panel member at OATUG, NCOATUG, CSOATUG, OVOATUG, SROATUG, Oracle Apps World and Oracle Open World Conferences (70+ sessions). Sandra continues to be active in the OATUG organization and serves as a Director on various OATUG GEO and SIG Boards. Sandra has been awarded the OAUG Member of the Year Award for 2008 at the Collaborate 2008 Conference in April 2008 in Denver CO. In December 2008 Sandra received Oracle ACE Award by Oracle Corporation.
