Disparate or Desperate Systems? Oracle Integration Cloud to the Rescue

In this new era of hybrid computing, where on-prem and cloud applications eagerly wait to get connected, start
handshakes, transfer and process data from each other. The focus is not just integration but also connecting
seamlessly, living harmoniously in the fastest possible time. Oracle Cloud Integration (or OIC in short) natively
supports web service calls to exchange data with other systems, making integration between Oracle Cloud apps
and 3rd party systems easier and faster. The intended usage of OIC are implementations of simple, light weight
integrations between applications.

This presentation is geared towards Oracle Integration Cloud as a PaaS solution, which is further illustrated by presenting use cases from the actual implementations.

How about one on the benefits of on-prem? In this interactive session comparing Oracle EPM Hyperion Planning vs. Cloud Planning (Formerly E/PBCS), attendees will choose which topics they are most interested in to guide the conversation. Navigating the Cloud in the New Decade

Today’s dynamic organizations are utilizing a multitude of systems and applications to run their business successfully. Understanding and using all of the data housed within non-integrated systems can be a considerable challenge. On top of that, migrating various systems to the Cloud can add to the complexity. How can organizations in the new decade efficiently run their organizations while traversing the complex technology landscape and data availability? In this interactive session, Ragu Veeraraghavan, VP of Solutions at SplashBI, will discuss how organizations can effectively utilize the disparate data of the various systems to drive truly positive business results. He will discuss the challenges organizations face. Some of the hurdles include: technical integration, reporting & analytics challenges, loss of historical data, and storage cost. Upgrading from Oracle EBS R12.1.X to R12.2.9, and what does that bring to your table?

Organizations running EBS 12.1 need to look for ways to maximize their ROI on Oracle EBS and maintain a healthy environment. This requires you to stay up to date with the latest features and functionalities, and capitalize on critical improvements that an R12.2 upgrade can offer. In other words, to modernize your EBS system seamlessly and identify areas where you can drive innovation and enhance your current processes.

    OATUG Forum Online

There’s a lot of uncertainty right now – you may even have projects on hold as a result of current world events. But the need to learn and remain relevant amid today’s global situation doesn’t stop. We invite you to participate in our first-ever OATUG Forum Online, a virtual conference packed with 200 educational sessions, happening weekdays, April 20 - May 1 – with a schedule that delivers high impact education while still leaving plenty of time in your work day for the other things demanding your time.

This online event will feature education that we’ve lifted and shifted from COLLABORATE 20, and the content will be current to today’s needs. Many sessions will reflect updated business strategies to share how they’re adapting during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • What are you waiting for? Join us TODAY!!!

Atlanta OATUG offers Oracle customers, applications users and IT management the opportunity to further their education in the fast moving application space and to gain insight from peers through knowledge sharing and networking.

We host events throughout the year and our meetings are free to all attendees. Our group began with Oracle EBS users and we have expanded to incorporate Oracle’s ever growing group of applications and products.

Atlanta OATUG is always looking for new members to contribute to our community. We encourage Oracle users, IT management, consulting personnel and vendor partners to join and participate. Speaking at an event is a great way to share Oracle success stories and to offer lessons learned.
  • Atlanta OAUG is now known as Atlanta OATUG

OAUG announced at COLLABORATE19 that they are now known as OATUG which means Oracle Applications and Technology Users Group.

Why the change? It was determined that 40% of all sessions, webinars, and meetups are 40% technology content driven therefore the word technology was added to the name.

In the coming months all GEO's and SIG's websites will reflect the new naming convention. For more information on OATUG’s name change, please see the following message from OATUG President, Doug Manning.
