Kaberi Nayak

DC OATUG President/Treasurer
Kaberi Nayak is the DCOATUG Geo-Coordinator.  In addition to serving as the DC OATUG President and Treasurer, Kaberi Nayak, currently works at Mitre Corporation as a Lead Oracle Applications DBA. Prior to working at Mitre, she worked at Oracle Corporation in the Oracle Applications development team at Reston, VA. Kaberi Nayak has been working with Oracle Databases since 1993, E-Business Suite and Peoplesoft since 1996 and various flavors of Unix/Linux since 1989. Kaberi has a B.S in Computer Science and a M.S in Information Systems from George Mason University, VA.

Kaberi Nayak has over twenty years of experience with Oracle database administration specifically supporting Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle/Peoplesoft environments. Her specialization includes supporting architecture design and installation, implementations, administration, maintenance, upgrades, platform migrations and database performance tuning. Kaberi served (2012 – 2013) as one of the OATUG Board of Directors. For years Kaberi has been a presenter and panel member at OATUG, IOUG, Oracle Apps World, Collaborate, Oracle Open World Conferences, DCOATUG Seminars and OATUG Connection Point events. Kaberi serves on various OATUG GEO and SIG Boards and Committees. Kaberi is currently the co-chair of OATUG Education Committee and Agenda Chair for Collaborate Conference 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Kaberi is also the co-chair for OATUG Customer Support Council. For her contributions to Oracle Applications User community, Kaberi was named OATUG Member of the Year in 2011 at Collaborate Conference. In October 2011, Kaberi received the Oracle ACE Award from Oracle Corporation.

Kaberi Nayak is dedicated to helping the DC OATUG to provide an environment that will help Metropolitan DC users to engage, participate, contribute and benefit from a thriving OATUG Geo.

Marsha Edgell

Event Coordinator
Marsha serves as Applications Practice Director in the Chesapeake BizTech (Business Technology Services Inc).  She is an accomplished industry advisor and certified PMP project manager with more than 20 years of service delivery experience. Upon graduating from Lehigh University with a BS in Accounting, Marsha spent several years in corporate accounting and finance in the banking and healthcare industries, where she led her first Oracle Apps implementation as a customer.  She then moved into consulting, with roles in numerous packaged software implementations, as well as experience with business process redesign and SOX compliance reviews.  Marsha’s specific areas of Oracle knowledge include releases 10.6 through 12.1 in Financials, Supply Chain, Project Costing and Billing, Oracle Business Accelerators, Human Capital Management, and CRM. Prior to joining BizTech, Marsha co-founded Delphi Technology Group, Inc. in 2001, a Philadelphia based IT and management consulting organization that merged with BizTech in October 2002. In 2007, Marsha joined Rosetta Stone as their Director of Enterprise Business Systems.  During her four years with Rosetta Stone, she was responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Oracle Applications for a global organization across the Americas, Europe and Asia.  Marsha resides in the DC area, and has a passion for engaging project teams with her hands-on approach to implementation methodology. Kelley Fitzpatrick

Communication Coordinator
Kelley Fitzpatrick serves as Account Manager and Marketing Coordinator for Creoal Consulting - a business systems integrator and management consultant firm in Commercial, Federal and Public Sector system initiatives. Kelley’s responsibilities include supporting events on the East Coast, as well as national campaigns and to help Oracle customers with product education and provide them with opportunities to network with other users. Kelley first joined Creoal in 2016 as a member of their Inside Sales team and remains active as Public Sector Account Manager. In this role, she has worked with Oracle customers daily and developed strong relationships within the Oracle community. She has the pleasure of finding new ways to engage Oracle users in dialogue about their business requirements and IT solutions through a variety of marketing channels. Prior to coming to Creoal, Kelley aquired a Master's Degree from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA.

Lara Joy

Outreach/Social Media Coordinator
An Annapolis-area native and McDaniel College alum, Lara enhanced The Squires Group’s ERP, finance and HR staffing teams by bringing over 14 years of recruiting experience. Lara has a competitive spirit and amazing attention to detail, which is why she is our lead in the training and development of our Resource Management Team. She also keeps our Social media sites buzzing with interesting opportunities and words of wisdom.

From her prior tenure with Ingenium Corporation, as a Corporate Recruiter/HR Specialist and FSO, Lara developed a strong network of technical professionals throughout the cleared community and continues to utilize her network to make successful placements here at Squires.  Lara’s full life cycle recruiting expertise and ability to match skilled professionals to meet our client’s needs, through relationship development of both clients and candidates, makes her an essential asset to The Squires Group Team.

In addition to Lara’s technical recruiting experience, she developed a financial and accounting network while working with Accountants International.  Lara has managed a high volume of positions and placed individuals from CFO to accounting/clerical level positions both contractually and on a direct hire basis.  Lara has placed professionals in a wide array of industries, including Federal, State and Local Government Agencies, Not-For-Profits, Healthcare, Government Contracting, Fortune 500 companies and small local businesses.

Paromita Ray

Secretary/Website Coordinator
Paromita Ray currently works at Georgetown University as the Director of Student Information Systems team. Her specialization includes strategic alignment and planning of IT Projects, technology roadmaps, governance, architecture, systems analysis and design, information management, quality assurance, solution delivery and service management of Student ERP System (Ellucian Banner for Higher Education) and other Student Systems (AdAstra, EMS, Touchnet, Evisions, CoursEval by CampusLabs, CourseLeaf, Campus Groups, PyraMed, Slate, TargetX, 2U, ACES, AMCAS, etc.).

She has over 20 years of experience with Oracle development tools/technologies with a consistent track record of translating business needs into innovative and highly reliable solutions that scale technically and operationally. She employs “outside the box” strategies and drives collaboration between the business and IT. She has migrated on-premise solutions to cloud-based platforms to increase scalability and agility and lower costs. Paromita can be reached by email
