The organization exists to share information and ideas on the use of Oracle Applications and Technology as the primary business system for public sector entities. Within this purpose, it will facilitate communication and the exchange of information on products, services, and technical issues related to Oracle Public Sector Applications and Technology; provide an active, unified voice and consolidated channel for users to convey public sector needs, requirements, concerns, and enhancement requests to Oracle; promote and support the effective use and adoption of Oracle Public Sector Applications and Technology across the membership; coordinate and assist educational endeavors through organized meetings at least annually—preferably twice yearly—at national conferences and through dissemination of information via email and the organization’s website; and align and coordinate the organization’s purposes and actions by providing a forum through which regional groups can share activities and concerns with the full membership and with other regional groups.
