The Oracle Application & Technology Users Group's (OATUG’s) Upgrade Special Interest Group (Upgrade SIG) focuses on issues relating to upgrading Oracle E-Business Applications Release 12. These issues include Release Mandatory Baseline Patching requirements, technology stack requirements, performance techniques, various upgrade tools, specific platform related information as well as current Oracle announcements on de-support and availability issues. We also cover the 12.1.3 and 12.2.X releases and provide insight as well as experience around what 12.2 on-line patching will mean to adopters. We'll also discuss how Cloud impacts EBS customers and opportunities to benefit from various offerings. The group provides a special problem-solving forum for those involved in the complexity of upgrading their applications. The Upgrade SIG meets bi-annually at the OATUG COLLABORATE and Oracle OpenWorld conferences and sponsors Expert panels at those events.
