Matt Lee leads the Oracle Applications Unlimited Team. In the last year, under his leadership, his team has worked with us on several new initiatives to deepen our partnership and put OATUG and COLLABORATE in front of their licensing customers. This includes inviting OATUG to present to sales teams, helping to position OATUG as the leading resource for EBS users, and partnering with OATUG to promote participation in our educational programs.
Oracle Ambassador of the Year Senior Director
Kevin has supported OATUG and our members for over a decade, starting with his work as OATUG Workflow Development SIG Oracle liaison. In 2010, Kevin took over the design of the 12.2 Online Patching and worked with our technology and DBA SIGs to ensure everyone understood this new technology. Kevin now oversees technology development and continues to ensure Oracle EBS technology meets the needs of customers and the OATUG user community.

Mia Urman is an Oracle ACE Director and a world-class expert in Oracle and mobility with over 20 years of experience presenting, supporting, training, and consulting Oracle solutions. As one of only 12 Oracle ACE directors who are women, she has worked tirelessly with Jennifer Nicholson of the ACE Program to initiate events to bring more women into the program. While on the board of the Oracle Development Group several years ago, she co-founded the Women in Technology Scholarship and the WIT luncheon. Mia is a shining example of how you can balance both a family and be the CEO of a growing start-up, all while being a top expert in the Oracle technology world.

Star Presenter of the Year - User Lead Application Specialist
Speaking in public in front of a peer audience is never easy, especially for Oracle Users. Mary Hammes, of Marquette University, presented 33 slides on “Calling Vendor RESTful APIs from Your PL/SQL Program” during COLLABORATE 19. Her session had attendance of 85 people and had a survey rating of 4.63 (with 5.0 being the best score). This technical session was one of the top sessions at COLLABORATE.

Kai Glittenburg, Solution Architect of Cloud Services, Apps Associates, shared 40 slides about “APEX Performance Tips & Tricks: Deep Dive into Apex” during COLLABORATE 19. His session had attendance of 99 people and had a survey rating of 4.89 (with 5.0 being the best score). Helping Oracle users understand the free Apex tool really highlights the value of a face to face conference. He has implemented Oracle technologies in Europe for over ten years, and has worked with Apps Associates, a Boston-based company, since 2009.

OATUG annually recognizes affiliated Geographic (GEO) Groups for their excellence in partnering with OATUG and supporting its mission to provide a forum for the sharing of information; to foster education and training programs for members; to promote membership in OATUG; and to assist new Oracle Applications users with the selection, implementation and effective use of Oracle Applications products. The Geo who excels and exceeds the requirements overall is awarded the Geo of the Year award. For 2020 this award is presented to the Michigan Geographic Group for their successful efforts and outstanding accomplishments. The Michigan Geo is led by Ahmed Alomari and Matt Gilchrist.
