Professional Role & Oracle Products Used
In my current role as Engagement Leader, within the Pitt Digital Customer Success and Engagement department at the University of Pittsburgh, I serve as a strategic partner and liaison between university customers and IT experts, fostering effective communication, collaboration and understanding to gather feedback and facilitate IT solutions.
In my previous role as Director of ERP Applications, I had management responsibility and oversight for software implementations and upgrades; system assessments; customer support and training; and hardware architectural design to support the E-Business environment. I recently had oversight for the migration of E-Business Suite from on-premise to OCI, and the upgrade of EBS from version 12.1.3 to 12.2.11. I was also the technical project manager for the University’s implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud in 2021. Other applications include Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?
I am seeking re-election to the OATUG Board of Directors to continue serving as a strong advocate and voice for the Oracle user community. Over the past seven years on the Board, including roles as President, Treasurer and Secretary, I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of OATUG’s collective “one-voice” to influence change and deliver meaningful value to members.
With more than 25 years of experience with Oracle applications, I bring both technical expertise and practical perspective of a long-time user. This uniquely positions me to represent the community’s interests and ensure their needs are heard.
OATUG’s strength is in uniting members to share knowledge, best practices, and real-world experiences. I am committed to building on that foundation to expand opportunities for engagement and learning. I welcome the opportunity to continue to serve and strengthen our organization and ensure our collective voice drives value and impact for Oracle users.
OATUG and Other Volunteer Experience:
I have served on the OATUG Board of Directors since 2019, including roles as President, President Elect, Treasurer (current), and Secretary. I am the Co-Chair and Board Liaison for the OATUG Customer Support Council, fostering collaboration between users and Oracle.
Other volunteer contributions include OATUG Finance Committee Chair, Co-Chair and Secretary of the Analytics and BI Special Interest Group, OATUG Women in Technology member, OATUG Ambassador. OATUG Governance Committee, OATUG Nominating Committee and OATUG Forum Online Conference Chair for 2020. I have presented and participated in panel discussions at various OATUG and Oracle events, including OATUG Ascend conference, including facilitating Customer Roundtable sessions, Collaborate, Oracle OpenWorld, BIWA/Data Analytics Summit and Higher Ed User Group Alliance conferences. I am a member of the Oracle Global Analytics Leader group and Higher Ed User Group (HEUG).
