I am Chief Architect at Syntax, a system integrator and MSP, and am responsible for global product management. My team is responsible for our services related to Cloud Apps, EBS, JD Edwards, OCI (Infra and Platform), Database, and other Oracle technologies. Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?
I have a significant number of contacts in both the EBS and OCI communities, and I feel that I have a pulse on topics of interest to users. I know several current and former board members and believe my expertise and personal qualities could help OATUG continue its mission of thought leadership and encouraging collaboration among its membership.
OATUG and Other Volunteer Experience:
I have presented at numerous OATUG conferences over the last 20 years, including winning Speaker of the Year at Ascend in 2024. I have attended both Oracle corporate and OATUG (and predecessor orgs) conferences for nearly all of the last 25+ years, as well as many regional user group conferences. I have been a past member of the EBS Technology CAB, the OCI Leadership CAB, and the Oracle Autonomous Database Leadership Circle. I meet regularly with EBS and OCI product management. I have had past roles as a director for a local scholarship fund (4 years, current) and as president of the board of local youth sports league (8 years, retired).
