Professional Role & Oracle Products Used

I am currently working at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory as a Solution Architect/EBS Operations Lead. We are using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2.13 and have been leveraging Oracle Applications since 1996. Over the past two decades, I have architected and led multiple initiatives involving the implementation and support of Oracle technologies. My work spans Oracle EBS modules, custom extensions, and integrations with enterprise systems, ensuring scalable and sustainable solutions. I continue to play a key role in delivering operational excellence and innovation through Oracle platforms.

Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?

I am running for the OATUG Board of Directors to continue advocating for Oracle Applications users and ensuring their priorities are communicated effectively to Oracle. With over 25 years of Oracle E-Business Suite experience leading implementations and projects, I bring both technical/functional expertise and a strong user perspective. Over the past two years on the OATUG Board, I have worked to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the community. My involvement in multiple user groups has helped me build strong connections and gain diverse insights into user challenges. I am committed to fostering the exchange of ideas and solutions that help members maximize their Oracle investments.

OATUG and Other Volunteer Experience:

I currently serve as a member of the OATUG Board of Directors where I am also the OATUG Education Committee Co-Chair, and the Chair/Coordinator for the Mobility and Digital Services for Enterprises SIG. I am also a member of the OATUG Editorial Committee, and   OATUG Customer Support Council. I have been a presenter, panelist, and webinar leader at Collaborate, Ascend, and Oracle OpenWorld.

Beyond OATUG, I served as an Area Director for Toastmasters International (Area 55), where I developed leadership and communication skills that I continue to bring to my professional and volunteer roles.

Through these experiences, I have built strong connections, supported professional development across the Oracle community, and consistently worked to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.
