Professional Role & Oracle Products Used
At NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, my position as head of business technology and applications leads and supports almost 100 IT professionals across all JPL stakeholders in leveraging Oracle products and solutions, including EBS, OAC/OAS, Oracle RDBMS, APEX, as well as an application portfolio of 100+ solutions.
Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?
My desire to serve one additional term on the Board of Directors is 3 fold. First, lead and support a second MasterMind program series (TBD) and seek to institutionalize it as a recurring program/ resource within OATUG for our member community. Second, continue to support the Finance committee, leveraging my additional/other board experiences in the current economic environment as well as serve on other committees where I can both contribute and learn. Third, continue to support and help steer OATUG in support of our member community in the rapidly evolving and advancing world of Oracle applications and technologies.
OATUG and Other Volunteer Experience:
I am currently in my 2nd year of my 1st term as a Director on the OATUG Board. I served on the Governance Committee and am currently on the Finance Committee. led and supported the 1st OATUG Mastermind program series, Organizational Change Management. Longtime member of OATUG (OAUG), multiple conference speaker, and past SIG Board leadership. In addition to OATUG, I have served for many years/ currently serve on various boards of non-profits, from a financial institution to health/fitness organizations.
