Professional Role & Oracle Products Used
I currently serve as the Leader of the Global Shared Service and India Leader at GE Appliances, a Haier company. In this critical role, I am directly responsible for the operational excellence, stability, and strategic evolution of the enterprise systems that drive our global business. Oracle technologies represent a foundational pillar of this landscape.
My team actively supports a hybrid Oracle ecosystem, managing our robust Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environment, which is central to our core operations. Simultaneously, we are deeply involved in our digital transformation, supporting and expanding our footprint on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) following our successful cloud migration initiatives. This dual focus on both maintaining critical legacy systems and embracing modern cloud platforms gives me a comprehensive, real-world perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing Oracle users today. My role demands ensuring these vital systems deliver peak performance and business value.
Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?
I am running for the OATUG Board to translate my 20 years of hands-on Oracle leadership into strategic advocacy for our members. Having guided organizations through everything from 11i implementations to complex on-premises to OCI migrations, I am driven to help our entire community navigate its most critical transformations.
My value is direct and practical. I offer proven leadership in driving large-scale change, always linking technical execution to tangible business value. My 360-degree expertise—from developer to architect to digital leader—ensures I can champion the needs of the entire member ecosystem. As a leader at GE Appliances, a major Oracle customer, I bring a current, real-world perspective and a valuable network of industry connections. I understand the pressures members face and am ready to ensure OATUG delivers timely, high-impact solutions. I am a dedicated practitioner ready to serve.
Other OATUG and Volunteer Experience:
While I have not yet held a formal OATUG volunteer title, my entire 20-year career has been an act of service and leadership within the Oracle community. I progressed from a hands-on developer to a Digital Technology Leader, driving everything from complex 11i-to-R12 implementations to pioneering on-prem to OCI cloud migrations. This journey has given me a 360-degree perspective on the real-world challenges our members face daily.
