In previous communications, the OAUG shared with you recent announcements about updates to the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Roadmap.

The breaking news we received from Oracle late last Friday is significant for our Oracle EBS users community. I'm pleased to be able to share this additional information with you:

  • Oracle EBS 12.2.7 is now available. According to Oracle's official release announcement (PDF), Release 12.2.7 combines functionality enhancements, error corrections and statutory and regulatory updates in a consolidated, suite-wide patch set.
  • The video featuring Cliff Godwin, Oracle Senior Vice President of Application Development, cites the importance of customer feedback in influencing the new features in EBS Release 12.2.7.
  • Additional information about new features in Release 12.2.7 and the upgrade paths from earlier releases is also available in the EBS Technology Blog article by Steven Chan, Oracle Senior Director.

These recent announcements reflect the power of the users community. Your feedback and ideas resonate with Oracle and serve as a catalyst to change. Your voice has power.

It's essential to keep the conversation going, and the OAUG is here to facilitate the connections that help make that happen. During Oracle OpenWorld 2017, there will be many opportunities for Oracle customers to have lively discussions during geographic (Geo) and special interest group (SIG) meetings on Sunday and other sessions throughout the week. Connect with the OAUG at OpenWorld to be sure you are receiving up-to-date information about Oracle products and trends that will affect your current and future product strategies.
