We made it to 2022! Through natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, people disagreeing on multiple fronts, and abundant financial challenges, as a collective we emerge with hope and experience to take on our future with hindsight we thought had passed with our great grandparents.
This is how we learn to succeed - through challenge and difficulty.
When times are easy, by human nature we become complacent and accept whatever comes along as being normal. But when stressed, our survival instincts kick in, and we become empowered to figure out the extraordinary. We become creative again. Adversity breeds solutions and out-of-the-box thinking.
OATUG has been and will always continue to be the mainstay collective of the combined intellect, problem sleuths, figure-out-how-to-make-it-work people of the Oracle ERP/CRM/EBS ecosystem. We are your home for customer-focused answers and questions. And unlike an oracle (little “O” or big “O,” take your pick), we are not ambiguous or obscure. 😊 (You can ponder the proper capitalization after reading the dictionary definition of “oracle” at the end of this message.)
We are the combined talent, intellect, frustrations and pathfinders of one of the most complex, and yet, most complete software (and hardware) ecosystems in history. And yet, sometimes our own creator (vendor) doesn't have all the answers we seek. A difficult challenge, but we find our answers, together.

Welcome to the New Year, and we will be right alongside you every step of the way in your journey of using and supporting this powerful collection of applications and technology tools that make organizations work.
I hope you’ll resolve to really engage with the OATUG Community this year. Join in some online presentations “live,” and connect with the presenter and other users in the chat. Answer questions from other users in The Hub. Reconnect with your local Geo, and join a special interest group (SIG) that aligns with your interests. And I sure hope you’ll join us for the education, networking and fun we’ll host at Ascend 2022 in June.
