Oracle EBS 12.2 Next Generation TechStack 14c and Java 17

When:  May 29, 2026 from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM (ET)

Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 Next Generation Technology Stack (Next Gen Tech Stack) advances EBS to the next release levels of its core platform components for a modern, secure, and high‑performance foundation. The roadmap moves to Fusion Middleware 14c, WebLogic Server 14c, Oracle HTTP Server 14c, Oracle Forms and Reports 14c, and Java Development Kit (JDK) 17, with coding practices geared for forward compatibility with future JDK releases. Together, these updates streamline lifecycle management, enhance stability and security, and position EBS 12.2 customers to adopt future innovations with minimal disruption.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify the EBS 12.2 Next Gen Tech Stack components (Fusion Middleware 14c, WebLogic 14c, Oracle HTTP Server 14c, Oracle Forms & Reports 14c, JDK 17) and explain their roles.
  2. Assess the impact of the roadmap on security, performance, and support lifecycle; map current environments to target versions and surface upgrade gaps/risks.
  3. Build a practical upgrade plan—prereqs, sequencing, and test strategy—and apply coding practices for JDK 17 and forward compatibility with future JDK releases.
