Elections and Terms of Office
o The electoral process will follow the guidelines set by OTAUG; Elections to be held every year with alternating expiring seats. The election process will be fully managed by OTAUG in compliance with OTAUG bylaws.
o Terms are for 3 years.
o Only OTM / GTM clients who are registered on the OATUG website are allowed to vote.
o Elections will be held every year.
o For the Americas Board:
§ One third of client (3) and partner (1) seats will be elected each year.
§ The Technology position will only be elected every three years (filled in 2022).
o For the Regional Board:
§ One third of client (3) and partner (1) seats will be elected each year.
§ The Technology position will only be elected every three years (filled in 2022).
o Clients and Partners/Consultancy companies may hold only 1 seat per legal entity per Region.
Qualifications
OTM SIG Board members and Chair members may be Coordinators of an affiliated Geo or SIG. The following qualifications and responsibilities apply to volunteers in these roles:
o Candidates must work/reside in the region they wish to represent.
o Candidates should have knowledge of the region’s customs and business practices and the issues facing that group.
o Candidates should have experience working with the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) or Global Trade Management (GTM) Applications.
o Candidates should ideally have a track record of volunteer activity in a related field.
