Professional Role & Oracle Products Used
I am working at Altera Corporation. Altera is the world’s largest independent, pure-play Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) integrated circuits solutions provider. As an IT Business Partner, I am responsible for implementing and supporting Financial Systems. As a trusted partner to our business users, my role is to provide end-to-end solutions for business processes. We are currently implementing Oracle Fusion platform to replace a SAP enterprise resource planning legacy system. Our Oracle footprint would be implemented across 26 countries. We are implementing Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle Fusion Supply Chain, Oracle Fusion Manufacturing and Oracle Fusion Enterprise Performance Management. In addition, we are implementing Oracle partner solutions for Indirect Tax, Third Party Logistics (3PL) and PaaS based solution for semiconductor vertical.
Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?
As a member of the OATUG board, I am deeply committed to driving the growth and success of our Oracle community. My volunteer work with OATUG has provided a powerful platform to both share my knowledge and learning with fellow members, helping them succeed in their projects and initiatives. As Agenda Chair for the Ascend Conferences, I have collaborated with some of the brightest minds in the Oracle ecosystem to deliver cutting-edge, world-class content. My experience across various user companies has sharpened my ability to tackle complex Oracle and business challenges, refining my leadership and critical thinking skills along the way. With an extensive network of Oracle professionals, partners, and user organizations, I’m uniquely positioned to bring tremendous value to OATUG. I am passionate about empowering Oracle users and committed to communicating OATUG’s value on a global scale—expanding our reach, membership and impact in the process.
Other OATUG and Volunteer Experience:
It has been a true privilege to serve the Oracle community and give back to the network that has shaped my professional journey. I have had the honor of serving three terms on the OATUG Board of Directors (2017–2018, 2022–2023, and 2024–2025), including three consecutive years as Board Secretary and Chair of the Governance Committee. I have also led key initiatives as Ascend Conference Agenda Chair (2023–2025) and as Chair of the Education Committee (2021–2022). Currently, I serve on the AI and Gen AI SIG Board and as Board Liaison for the OATUG Emerging Leaders Committee. I co-host the OATUG podcast Ascend with Carrie and Mohan, now in its third season, and have delivered more than 90 presentations at Oracle conferences worldwide. I have been recognized as an Oracle Ace and a two-time recipient of the OATUG Member of the Year Award (2007 and 2021).
