OATUG recognizes the investment your organization makes in its staff’s professional development, outreach, networking and education through this membership. The Ambassador fulfills the critical link between OATUG and your organization to help all team members take advantage of this benefit. It is not a huge time commitment, but a commitment that is valued and recognized!
Each OATUG member organization has one designated Ambassador who serves as the primary point of contact for the membership. Ambassadors should be proactive, willing to receive communications from OATUG and able to communicate those with your internal teams. OATUG does request that the Ambassador remain willing to subscribe to all communications, as the conduit for information for your entire team. Help us help you!
Ambassadors help their co-workers maximize the value of the organization's membership by keeping their co-workers informed about OATUG member benefits and new OATUG programs and services. Ambassadors have access to the organization's list of contacts and can add or remove contacts within the organization. Finally, the Ambassador is the voice of your organization in the OATUG annual Board of Directors election. Each ambassador will cast the single vote for your organization.
