Ambassador Program

OATUG recognizes the investment your organization makes in its staff’s professional development, outreach, networking and education through this membership. The Ambassador fulfills the critical link between OATUG and your organization to help all team members take advantage of this benefit. It is not a huge time commitment, but a commitment that is valued and recognized!

Each OATUG member organization has one designated Ambassador who serves as the primary point of contact for the membership. Ambassadors should be proactive, willing to receive communications from OATUG and able to communicate those with your internal teams. OATUG does request that the Ambassador remain willing to subscribe to all communications, as the conduit for information for your entire team. Help us help you! 

Ambassadors:

  • Help co-workers maximize the value of the organization's membership by disseminating information about OATUG member benefits and new OATUG programs and services.
  • Updating organizational roster by adding/removing staff annually.
  • Casting the vote for your organization in the annual Board election.

Ambassador Orientation for You and Your Team

Ambassadors will receive a quarterly newsletter and benefits update for your whole team from ambassador@oatug.org and (please whitelist this email with your organization).

You may request a live one-on-one web demo for you and your team at any time. This allows for Q&A on how to maximize your membership. 

Alternatively, please share this 15-minute video with new team members during their onboarding so they, too, can experience the benefit of the OATUG membership.

                                                             

Ambassador Tasks

  1. Review and update your organization’s list of employees with logins once a year.  
  2. Send quarterly OATUG Benefits Reminder & Update emails (provided by the OATUG) to all of your colleagues. Find helpful benefit updates every month on the new Ambassador Resource Page
  3. Be aware of the organization's OATUG membership renewal date and make sure the renewal is processed on time so that membership benefits are not interrupted. 
  4. Vote on behalf of your organization in the OATUG Board of Directors elections each year. 

Ambassador Participation Form and Recognition

Mark each task you complete on the Ambassador participation form.

Ambassadors who fulfill the top three requirements outlined above by March 31 of each year and complete the Ambassador participation form are entered into a drawing for one free conference registration.
