Professional Role & Oracle Products Used

I currently serve as Chief Information Officer at Fayetteville Public Works Commission, a municipal utility in North Carolina. In this role, I oversee enterprise applications, data & analytics, cybersecurity, PMO, and process improvement teams. Our Oracle footprint is extensive, including Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, Payroll, EPM/EPBCS, and Oracle Utilities applications such as Customer-to-Meter (C2M) and Work and Asset Cloud Services (WACS). I am accountable for strategy, governance, and operational excellence across these solutions, leading complex implementations, integrations, and upgrades. My team manages critical business processes such as payroll, procurement, customer billing, financial planning, and reporting, while also driving automation, cost savings, and security improvements. This breadth of responsibility gives me a deep understanding of both the technical and business dimensions of Oracle solutions, and positions me to share valuable perspective with the OATUG community.

Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?

I am running for the OATUG Board to give back to a community that has been central to my career and to help shape its value for members navigating Oracle’s evolving ecosystem. I bring nearly two decades of Oracle leadership across ERP, HCM, Payroll, C2M, and WACS, with firsthand experience in large-scale cloud transformations, cybersecurity, and governance. As CIO, I manage an $18M IT portfolio and lead diverse teams spanning enterprise applications, cybersecurity, PMO, and process improvement. I can offer OATUG practical insights on digital transformation, vendor management, and IT governance, as well as strong connections across utilities, government, and private industry. I also bring board-level experience, fiscal stewardship, and a metrics-driven approach that ensures initiatives deliver measurable value. My goal is to strengthen OATUG’s role as a trusted resource for practitioners and decision-makers worldwide.

Other OATUG and Volunteer Experience:

Since 2020, I have regularly attended the annual OUUG and Oracle Edge conferences, both as a participant and, in some cases, as a speaker sharing insights from PWC’s Oracle implementations. These opportunities allowed me to exchange best practices with peers across industries and strengthen the Oracle user community. While I have not yet held a formal OATUG volunteer role, I have consistently engaged in Oracle forums and industry groups, advocating for collaboration and knowledge-sharing. At Fayetteville Public Works Commission, I lead major Oracle initiatives across ERP, HCM, Payroll, C2M, and WACS, often presenting outcomes and lessons learned to both business leaders and technical teams. Beyond Oracle, I actively serve on community boards and planning committees, applying governance and leadership expertise to drive positive outcomes. This blend of Oracle engagement, industry contribution, and civic leadership equips me to add meaningful value as an OATUG Board member.
