Professional Role & Oracle Products Used
I currently serve as Digital Transformation Lead at Simmons Foods, playing a crucial role in enterprise-wide ERP transformation from on-prem to Fusion Cloud. I have been deeply involved in multiple phases of the rollout—beginning with Finance, initial SCM rollout, and now our Pet Food division. Throughout this journey, I have worn many hats: cloud evangelist, technical lead, product manager, and vendor management giving me a holistic view of Oracle Cloud implementations and the broader eco-system.
These experiences have provided me with practical insight into both the opportunities and challenges of Oracle adoption, from system design and change management to governance and user engagement. These skills align closely with OATUG’s mission of empowering members to maximize their Oracle investments. By serving on the board, I hope to bring this perspective to help guide OATUG’s programs, foster stronger user communities, and share real-world lessons from large-scale Oracle Cloud transformation.
Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?
I am running for the OATUG Board to give back to a community that has been instrumental throughout my career. Having worked in the Oracle ecosystem as a developer, consultant, advisor, and now as an end customer leading a large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud transformation, I bring a 360-degree perspective that spans technical, functional, and business dimensions.
My experience equips me with skills in product development, implementation, product management, and mentoring, while my recent MBA from Duke has strengthened my leadership, strategic, and networking abilities. I also bring strong connections across Oracle practitioners, business leaders, and emerging technology communities.
Looking ahead, I believe OATUG can play a key role in helping members navigate the integration of AI with Oracle and related products. I am passionate about making AI a focus area—building it into OATUG’s community learning so members not only gain knowledge but also develop long-term strategies for success.
OATUG and Other Volunteer Experience:
I have served as a mentor in the OATUG Mentorship Program, supporting professionals in developing skills and navigating their Oracle career paths. Through this role, I’ve contributed to OATUG’s mission of fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Beyond OATUG, I have extensive experience building communities and mentoring students. I have introduced students to emerging technologies and entrepreneurial skills, helped them gain confidence and practical knowledge for future careers. I have also advised university labs and early-stage start ups, guiding them on technology adoption, product development, and strategy.
These experiences reflect my passion for creating learning opportunities, building collaborative communities, and supporting the next generation of professionals. I bring the same service-oriented mindset to OATUG, and I am committed to strengthening our community by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and advancing innovation.
