Gustavo Gonzalez
Corporate Associate (KNEX Technology)
Professional Role & Oracle Products Used
Over the past decade, I’ve provided strategic leadership and architected solutions globally, leveraging a wide array of Oracle technologies and applications, including EBS, Fusion, Oracle BI, Virtualization, and Database. Currently, I serve as Chief Technology Officer at KNEX Technologies, a boutique consulting firm dedicated to supporting organizations with Oracle solutions. Prior to this, I spent 16 years as CTO at IT Convergence, a global service provider and active Oracle user. My experience includes collaboration with multiple Oracle Product Teams across various technology areas, and I was a key player in the beta testing of E-Business Suite 12.2. As a recognized Oracle ACE Director, I frequently present at conferences worldwide on a range of Oracle Cloud topics. A former member of the Forbes Technology Council, I am also an active blogger, social media enthusiast, and passionate advocate for technology-driven innovation.
What makes the OATUG mission meaningful to you?
It resonates deeply because it aligns with my passion for empowering organizations to leverage their Oracle investments fully. Throughout my career, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative impact that well-implemented Oracle solutions can have on businesses and communities. The independence of OATUG ensures that members receive unbiased, comprehensive support and knowledge-sharing, which are critical in navigating the complexities of Oracle technologies. As someone who has dedicated years to advancing Oracle expertise, authoring a book (EBS Financial Handbook), building communities across Latin-American (co-Founder of AROUG, and former president of LAOUC), I value the collaborative environment OATUG fosters, where professionals can connect, learn, and grow together. Being part of an organization that supports and enhances the capabilities of Oracle users worldwide is incredibly meaningful to me. It reflects my commitment to continuous learning, sharing knowledge, and driving innovation within the community, helping organizations achieve their goals more effectively.
Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?
I'm running for the OATUG board to contribute to the growth and success of our Oracle community. Having been in the Oracle ecosystem for over 20 years, I've built a vast network of connections between Oracle partners and customers that can greatly benefit OATUG. My experience spans from leading complex Oracle implementations to serving as the Chief Technology Officer at KNEX Technology, where I’ve developed deep technical expertise. As an Oracle ACE Director and co-founder of the Argentina Oracle User Group, I have a proven track record of fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing across diverse regions. My network, combined with my strategic insights and commitment to empowering Oracle users, positions me to drive impactful initiatives and enhance the value OATUG offers to its members worldwide.
