Professional Role & Oracle Products Used
I currently work in IT and have over 26 years of experience. Right now, I support Oracle products like Oracle Time and Labor (OTL). I also train and guide teams on how to make the best use of these Oracle systems, making sure companies get the most out of their technology.
What makes the OATUG mission meaningful to you?
The OATUG mission matters to me because it focuses on helping people and businesses get the most out of their Oracle technology. As someone who works in IT, I understand how important it is to make the best use of the tools we have. I also appreciate that OATUG brings people together from around the world to share ideas and solutions, which is something I really value.
Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?
I’m running for the OATUG Board because I want to help members get the most out of their Oracle tools and support the community’s growth. With 26 years in IT, I have a lot of experience with Oracle and strong leadership skills. Being part of the Emerging Leaders and Women in Technology groups has helped me understand what members need and build great connections.
Other OATUG and Volunteer Experience:
I’ve been involved with OATUG through my work with the Emerging Leaders and Women in Technology groups, where I’ve connected with others and contributed to the community. I’ve also attended several OATUG conferences, learning and sharing ideas with fellow members.
Outside of OATUG, I’ve had leadership roles in other organizations. I’m on the board of directors for an Oracle technical group, and with 26 years in IT, I’ve led training sessions and helped with professional development. These experiences have helped me work well with others and encourage growth in the tech field.
