Over the past several months, Oracle sought input from the OATUG Customer Support Council on their plans to update the Error Correction Baseline for Oracle EBS 12.2. The Customer Support Council gathered input from about twenty Oracle customer organizations. With their feedback, the Customer Support Council recommended that Oracle use 18 months as the timeline for a typical upgrade project and set the version to 12.2.5.
The new Error Correction Baseline was announced in this Oracle blog post from Cliff Godwin in late December. As recommended by the Customer Support Council, the timeframe is 18 months. The baseline version has been updated to 12.2.7.
