EBS AP Automation: Validation-First/Visibility-First

When:  Apr 30, 2026 from 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM (ET)
One size does not fit all in Oracle EBS. Some organizations prioritize a clean ledger, while others demand immediate visibility into liabilities. This webinar explores the two primary integration strategies for EBS automation. We will demonstrate how AP automation with a flexible orchestration engine supports both 'Validation-First' and 'Visibility-First' workflows to accomplish your AP automation goals.

Two Paths to EBS Integration

The Validation-First Path: Invoices remain in the high-speed orchestration layer until 2-way or 3-way matching and all business rules are 100% satisfied. Only "Voucher-Ready" data is injected into EBS Open Payables Interface, ensuring your General Ledger reflects fully validated and matched payables.

The Visibility-First Path: Invoices are injected into the EBS Open Payables Interface immediately upon capture. Automation auto-applies "Received Holds" where Receivers aren’t immediately available, providing Finance with instant accrual visibility for all invoices while automated workflows resolve exceptions and release the holds for payment.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Learn how automated 'Received Holds' can be configured for instant accruals.
  2. Understand how flexible workflow rules match your specific audit and accounting goals.
  3. Gain insight into how advanced EBS integration maintains a 'Clean Core' with the flexibility to choose the integration that achieves your objectives.
