In this session, attendees will experience an introduction to Oracle’s Cloud Platform. An overview of market and technology trends will highlight how Cloud technologies are prominent in today’s IT landscape. Special attention will be given to the Oracle Sales Cloud Platform, highlighting how this SaaS (software as a service) solution supports a company’s sales organization and revenue planning activities. While there is no silver bullet, some practical suggestions for helping you achieve success, through effective communication, execution, performance and mentorship. Equally important is having a “voice” that you can use to build your career.

Speaker Bios
Elizabeth Kensicki, Denovo Ventures
Elizabeth Kensicki is a 2007 graduate of Johnson & Wales University. After starting her career in corporate food service, she transitioned to working with Oracle applications and technologies in 2011. Since then, Elizabeth has focused on helping organizations of all sizes, select and implement the best fit Oracle software solutions for their modern business requirements. Elizabeth has concentrated on the technologies that support the needs of a company’s sales and marketing departments. She holds a seat on the New England Oracle Applications User Group board. She has also supported many regional and national events as a presenter and volunteer. Today, Elizabeth works for Denovo Ventures, a Platinum Partner of the Oracle corporation and resides in Boston.
Ektaa Lilani, AST Corporation
Ms. Lilani is an Oracle technical consultant with 5 years’ experience with Oracle. Her deep expertise in Oracle ERP and Cloud technologies, along with an Oracle ADF Certification, has allowed her to effectively assist clients in achieving large scale business transformations. Ms. Lilani’s industry experience includes the microelectronics, retail, finance and automotive sectors. She has completed prestigious Leadership Essentials Certifications through Harvard University, adding great value to each project she is a part of. Ms. Lilani’s dedication and expertise in leading technology teams makes her a recognized leader in building eminence and practice capabilities in Enterprise Digital using Oracle Cloud and ADF technologies.
Doug Manning, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory
Doug Manning has over 18 years of experience with Oracle’s E-Business Suite (Releases 9 – 12.1) products in the areas of implementation, upgrades, major and minor custom extension (assessment, planning, design and implementation) development, 3rd party software integration, and human and organizational change management. He has been a member of OAUG since the late 1990s, a participant at the Oracle Federal Customer Advisory Board and is currently an OAUG ambassador. Over the past 10 years, he has written and presented 10 papers at OAUG-sponsored events such as Connection Point and the annual COLLABORATE conference on topics as diverse as developing custom extensions for Oracle E-Business Suite to mastering Oracle E-Business Suite change management within your organization.
In his career, Douglas has risen through the ranks, starting out as a developer and eventually becoming a project leader and manager in the Oracle E-Business Suite area. Because he brings a strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle’s E-Business Suite from both a functional and technical perspective through his many years of product usage, custom enhancement development, managing and performing product upgrades and implementations, and his many years of managing Oracle applications technical and functional personnel, he is uniquely qualified and will be a strong advocate for the interests of Oracle applications users, focusing on the following areas:
Oracle Support inadequacies
- Enhanced product education and training programs
- Real-world product experience and information sharing
- Change management and future product directions (technical, functional and human side)
Margot McDonnell, Denovo Ventures, LLC
Margot has over 22 years of professional IT Sales Management experience, primarily in the areas of Oracle applications and Cloud technology implementation services and software. Throughout her career, Margot has been responsible for all aspects of business development, marketing, and sales management, with the continuous objective of business growth, customer engagement, and team success. She also manages the Oracle strategic business relationship, which is the cornerstone partnership for the company. Margot is a member of the Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL) group, as well as been a participant and panelist for several Women in Technology regional groups. Margot is a 1989 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, with a BS degree in Labor and Industrial Relations; and Employee Relations minor.
