Happy New Year! Looking to make changes in 2020? If you’re thinking of moving to EPM in the Cloud, Oracle is publishing a multi-part blog series with important information. Here are the first two articles. “Don’t Be Fooled By Not-Quite-Complete EPM Solutions” and “5 Things a Comprehensive Planning and Forecasting Solution Always Has”.
Guidance for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.1 and 12.2 with Oracle Forms and Reports Developer 10g (10.1.2.3) on Windows 10 has been updated. Bill Dunham, President-Elect of OATUG, says “This announcement is a good heads-up and reminder to OATUG members, as Windows 7 has reached its End of Life phase as of January 14, 2020. I suspect OATUG members all have Windows 7 replacement plans in place, and when they upgrade to Windows 10 they can do that with confidence knowing Oracle previously certified Oracle Forms and Reports Developer 10g on Windows 10 for EBS 12.x development.” (More)
Oracle recently announced the Oracle E-Business Suite Learning Center, which offers free “Transfer of Information” (TOI) online courses to help customers implement and use new and enhanced 12.2 features. Organized by Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.x release and product, the TOI online courses present the business value of new and enhanced features, and explain the corresponding setup and user flows.
