Mohan Dutt
Corporate User Member (Equinix)
Professional Role & Oracle Products Used
Currently, I am an IT Director at Equinix supporting Finance Shared Services teams for Invoice to Pay, Order to Cash and Indirect Tax business processes. Equinix is implementing and/or implemented the following Oracle products: Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle CPQ Cloud, Oracle Subscriptions Management Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle EPM Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite R12, Siebel CRM Applications, Oracle Database 19c, Oracle Exadata and Oracle Cloud Learning. I am a member of Oracle Fusion Product Council and on customer advisory board with several Oracle partners.
What makes the OATUG mission meaningful to you?
OATUG's mission is meaningful and relevant to our Oracle user community more than ever. With rapid changes in Oracle technology including Cloud adoption, companies are facing enormous challenges to optimize their spend in Oracle and partner solutions. I believe in the unified voice of the Oracle user community providing feedback to Oracle. I am a member of OATUG Customer Support Council that provides a platform for communicating with Oracle. User organizations, associates providing consulting and product offerings as well as Oracle participation makes progress possible through community interaction. As an OATUG Ambassador, I have been able to maximize my company’s investments in Oracle through the connecting with fellow members and sharing our common experiences and best practices.
Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?
I believe this is a watershed moment now for all Oracle user groups to chart their direction. I have been involved in building a strategic plan for OATUG for the next three years. I want to continue as an active member of the OATUG Board to implement the vision and goals for OATUG. I see myself as a prototypical OATUG member undergoing business transformation using Oracle products. I will use my connections in Oracle community to recruit new OATUG members from both Oracle user and Oracle partner networks. Lastly, I would continue my volunteer role as Ascend 2024 Agenda Chair to deliver a great event experience for all attendees.
