Jacksonville, FL

Professional Role & Oracle Products Used

In my role as Oracle Business Analyst III at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, I provide technological support to internal users of our Authority-wide ERP system. My current role provides oversight over Oracle modules, including but is not limited to, iSupplier, Payables, General Ledger, Receivables, Cash Management, Web Application Desktop (ADI), Procurement, Project Costing, Project Billing, Enterprise Asset Management and Grants Management. My role extends as the liaison between the Technology Developers and Business Process Owners to communicate innovative business ideas and develop solutions to enhance the ERP system and resolve issues. I also provide technical support in troubleshooting system issues, implementing financial system upgrades, patches, testing and completing other ad-hoc support assignments.

What makes the OATUG mission meaningful to you?

The Oracle Applications & Technology Users Group focus on the end-users and the commitment to improve overall experience with the product.  This allows everyone from Business Analyst to Stakeholder to effectively communicate and offer solutions to enhance product offerings. In the face of a rapidly changing technology industry, this is key to the development of new functionality and new product solutions.

Why are you running for the Board, and what skills, connections, resources and expertise do you have to offer the organization?

My extensive experience with ERP systems expands over 20+ years in the technology industry, supporting HR benefits and financial modules. In my professional role, I consistently strive to promote and integrate Oracle “best practices” in all of our business processes throughout the organization and work in collaboration with business owners at all levels. I possess strong skills for analytical problem solving of complex issues and effectively meeting deadlines with competing priority. I look forward to the opportunity to serve on the board to share knowledge, expand skills and gain deeper insight on Oracle’s diverse group of business technology solutions. My participation will allow me the opportunity to participate with other community members and OATUG staff to ensure the overall goals for the organization are achieved and the strong working community of users is continually expanded.

Other OATUG and Volunteer Experience:

Jacksonville Transportation Authority has been a long-term Corporate User member of OATUG and I have worked closely with our immediate past (2) Board Members to develop and implement many process improvement initiatives in our ERP system. I used valuable insights and information gained through conference attendance and the user community to accelerate learning successes within our user group.

I actively serve as Lead Technology Consultant for OLCC, Inc., a non-profit that provide transitioning services to women and men in Northeast Florida and other surrounding communities.  In my role, I provide leadership oversight for all IT solutions. I have been involved with this great organization for the past 15+ years and have enjoyed the impact we have made in the lives of so many individuals.
